MARINE BiOTA works with a growing network of highly trained Protected Species Observers (PSOs), Passive Acoustic Monitoring (PAM) operators, and field technicians. Our projects span offshore energy development, coastal monitoring, and collaborative research.
By joining our contractor pool, you’ll have the opportunity to support conservation, compliance, and applied science while working in the field across the U.S. East Coast, Gulf of Mexico, and beyond.
Who We’re Looking For
Protected Species Observers (PSO): Experience identifying marine mammals and sea turtles, familiarity with mitigation protocols (NOAA/NMFS).
PAM Operators: Skilled with PAMGuard or other acoustic monitoring platforms, capable of real-time detection and logging.
Field Technicians: Background in benthic surveys, avian monitoring, oceanographic data collection.
Commitment to safety and professionalism in offshore environments.
